About Me

Nāgārjuna, in his Mūlamadhyamaka-kārikā says,

tathāgato yat svabhāvas tat svabhāvam idaṁ jagat |

tathāgato niḥsvabhāvo niḥsvabhāvam idaṁ jagat ||

The innate nature of the Tathagata, is the innate nature of this world.

The Tathagata is devoid of innate nature, (so) This world (too) is devoid of innate nature

If the world itself is devoid of any nature (Svabhava), there is nothing to say about a tiny creature who is part of this world.

That was on an absolutist note ! Now for the conventional pudgala ;-)

I am just a not-so average guy, a typical piscean, a self-proclaimed Advayavadin who is a bit philosophically inclined, completely absent mined, with crazy interests that includes Orthographies, Computational Linguistics, History, Religion, Music & Animes.

I am currently doing my PhD in Computer Science at University of St Andrews, Scotland. You can access my research page here : http://sachi.cs.st-andrews.ac.uk/people/phd-students/vinodh-rajan/

This poster briefly describes my current research.

About this site

The site was primarily created to host the code I write. But I thought I could expand it to my other areas of interest. So you will find information about Mantras, Tantras, Writing Systems, Animes and all that stuff :-).

There is a Biilingual Blog called Vadaami (Sanskrit: I am Speaking) in English and Tamil, which contains my occasional rantings and ramblings  ! The Gallery has a wide variety of pics, youtube videos and related stuff.  Lipitva has text images of Ancient Scripts, while you can find enchanting spells in the Mantra section. Perhaps, you would like to see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page too.

If you have any suggestions and comments mail it to the above e-mail address. If you do have time, leave a comment about the site in the Guestbook !
