Grantha Script, was used to write Sanskrit once throughout South East Asia and Greater Tamil Nadu.
It was popular in Tamil Nadu until the early 20th century.
After a gradual decline, Devanagari superseded it as the Common Script for Sanskrit. But Grantha can still be found in Panchangas and Yantras.
The Epigraphic variety of the Grantha Script can be found as Wall Inscriptions is many Temples.
The Version presented here is the late variety of the Grantha Script. The Text has been produced from the various Grantha fonts that are available.
